Teams Life Centre is the new name for the old Teams Community Centre, based on Askew Road West in Gateshead. Teams Life Centre (TLC) was created in 2015 when Dunston Family Church, a local registered Christian charity, obtained a 30 year lease from Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council to operated the building for the benefit of local residents. Teams Life Centre exists to serve and support the folk of the Teams, Gateshead. Withing the building we offer a large sports hall, as well as several rooms of differesnt sizes.
We run regular events throughout the week, with more being added all the time!

Withing Teams Life Centre we offer a range of community activities for adults and children, rooms available for hire by community group and local businesses, a cafe, a second hand shop, a large sports hall, as well as several rooms of differesnt sizes.

Our New2You Community Charity Shop is a valued asset to our centre, allowing you to purchase previously owned clothes, books, CDs, DVDs, toys and bric-a-brac at very reasonable prices.
Our Community Cafe is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 2pm for an excellent selection of sandwiches, snacks and full meals, including a daily special.
Our popular youth clubs take place on Wednesday evenings between 5pm and 6.30pm for ages 7-11, or for the younger kids, (4-6) we have our Friday youth club (5pm - 6.30pm). Both nights have plenty of activities from karaoke to football, all supervised by DBS checked volunteers. Only 50p per child entry!
We also have different sizes of room available for hiring privately for parties, meetings or any other purpose at very reasonable rates. We even have our own bouncy castle and soft play equipment available for hire!
