Teams Life Centre is the new name for the old Teams Community Centre, based on Askew Road West in Gateshead. Teams Life Centre (TLC) was created in 2015 when Dunston Family Church, a local registered Christian charity, obtained a 30 year lease from Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council to operated the building for the benefit of local residents. Teams Life Centre exists to serve and support the folk of the Teams, Gateshead. Withing Teams Life Centre we offer a range of community activities for adults and children, rooms available for hire by community group and local businesses, a cafe, a second hand shop, a large sports hall, as well as several rooms of differesnt sizes.
Our mission
is to provide high quality, sustainable family and group activities for
all ages and abilities in the Teams community.
We achieve this by providing activities and support services for all to enjoy.
We provide for a wide range of community groups including: New Vision; Advance Mens Group; Guidepost.
