Dear Lord,

I know that I have failed to live a perfect life and have done things that I wish I hadn’t done. (You might like to confess [admit to] anything that God has brought to your mind.)

I want to turn from a life without You to one where You matter the most.

I believe that You loved me so much that You sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross for me.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for taking the full punishment that my sins deserved so that I could be forgiven and go free and begin a new life with You.

Thank You that You rose again from the dead and that You promised that all those who put their trust in You will be saved.

Please forgive me for my past and create in me a new heart that will live to please and honour You.

I invite your Holy Spirit into my life to help me to live for You.

Thank You for hearing my prayer.
